Guttenberg not improving

Dear Editor:
Gerald Drasheff is now the new mayor of Guttenberg and life in this town has not gotten any better. Mayor Drasheff was a council member who worked alongside the past mayor of Guttenberg who was sentenced to prison because of corruption charges.
It appears that Mr. Drasheff has learned a lot from the past mayor of Guttenberg who he once worked with. For example, Mayor Drasheff promised that a park would be built by the fall season of 2008 while he was running for the mayor position. These continuous promises were made by the previous mayor. That mayor had promised Guttenberg that a park would be built since October of 2005 but never delivered. Mr. Drasheff was a council member at that time working with that corrupt mayor.
Year after year the town of Guttenberg has received numerous excuses of why the park has not been built. Mayor Drasheff has not even come close to providing what he has promised Guttenberg during his mayoral and council terms. I only hope that Mayor Drasheff has learned from that past mayor that he once worked with and who is now in prison.
