New Jersey Policy Perspective, a non-profit public policy think tank based in Trenton, will release on Wednesday its report examining New Jersey’s long-term tax abatement law and specifically Jersey City’s use of that law.
The event at St. Peter’s College at 11 a.m. (Corner of Kennedy Blvd. and Montgomery St.) in Jersey City will begin with a presentation of NJPP’s key findings and will conclude with a roundtable discussion of Jersey City’s use of long-term tax abatements and the abatements’ impact on the city. The report will be released at the event, which is being cosponsored by the Sociology & Urban Studies Department at Saint Peter’s College.
The location will be in the college’s McIntyre Lounge in Dinneen Hall. For directions visit: http://www.spc.edu/pages/840.asp. – Ricardo Kaulessar
