Thank you to Hoboken’s summer fun sponsors

Dear Editor:
On behalf of the City of Hoboken, I wanted to take this opportunity to thank the many sponsors for their support of all the Summer Fun activities the City has planned for 2009. Their financial support has helped to pay for not only performer fees, sound technicians and advertising but the cost of printing the Summer Fun Guide and the postage to mail it. We are so appreciative to them for helping us make it possible to present events such as Kiddiepalooza, Family Fun Nights at Shipyard Park, Movies Under the Stars, Sinatra Idol Contest, Summer Concerts at Sinatra Park, Art in the Park, etc.
I would also like to thank the many volunteers that help make our events a reality. Your help is greatly appreciated. It has been a busy season already, but the summer is not over. “Summer Calendars” are available at City Hall or you can also check out the city website: www.hobokennj.org for more information.
Here is a list of the sponsors whose support have made these events possible:
Special thanks to our major Gold Sponsors: The Applied Companies and the Barry Family, the Hudson County Division of Cultural and Heritage Affairs, Projected Images of Hudson County, The Hoboken Reporter, Verizon Fios, Verizon Wireless and NY Waterway Ferry.
Additional support from our Silver Sponsors: The Burgiss Group, Cassesa Property Management, The Dubliner, Hartshorn Portraiture, Hoboken Brownstone Company, Hoboken Farms, The Law Offices of Thomas LoBue, P.C. and Shop Rite of Hoboken and United Water.
Additional support provided by our Bronze supporters: Court Street Restaurant, eMazzanti Technologies, The Hoboken Family Alliance, Mulligans, R. John Muller and Son and Daughter Insurance, PNC Bank, Prudential Financial, ServPro and Stevens Institute of Technology.
Thanks to those businesses who donated prizes for our Sinatra Idol Contest: Bliss Day Spa, 340 Grill, The Madison, Leo’s Grandevous, Biggies Clam Bar and the Hoboken Historical Museum; our MC Gary “Simpsinatra” Simpson, the judges: Alex Corrado, Robert Foster, Marian Roland, Amanda Staab and Marie Totaro and all of the contestants for sharing their talent and love of Sinatra with us.
Funding for our Summer events series has been made possible in part by a Block Grant from the State/County Partnership Program for the Arts administered by the Hudson County Division of Cultural and Heritage Affairs, Tom DeGise, County Executive and the Board of Chosen Freeholders

Thanks and best regards,
Geri Fallo
