Parade of Hudson County officials leaves courtroom after charges

A who’s who of Hudson politicos left U.S. District Court in Newark Thursday afternoon into early evening. Some rushed out without comment or some were glad to talk, all while swarmed by a crowd of photographers and reporters including the Hudson Reporter.
They were all faced charges in a two-pronged federal investigation looking into public corruption and international money laundering that nabbed 44 people including the mayors of Hoboken and Secaucus, with a side track of illegal human kidney trafficking by a Brooklyn rabbi.
