Starting Aug. 22, the New York-bound Holland Tunnel will be closed Saturdays and Sundays from 1 to 8 a.m. until the scheduled cross drain replacement project completion next month. Traffic will be diverted to the Lincoln Tunnel. This $5.5 million capital improvement project to repave the north and south tubes, which includes approach ramps and the replacement of drains, will keep the Holland Tunnel in a state of good repair.
