A Mass of Christian burial was offered Aug. 15 at St. John the Baptist Church for Doris J. Pietranico, formerly of Jersey City. She passed away Aug. 8, at Mountainside Hospital, Glen Ridge. Born in Jersey City, Mrs. Pietranico lived there for most of her life. She was a housewife and mother. She was a former member of St. Nicholas Church. Predeceased by her late husband, James P. and her son, James, Mrs. Pietranico is survived by her daughters, Catherine Pietranico, Maureen Espinoza, Michele Uerchick, Nancy Ernst and son, Michael. She is also the grandmother of 13 and great-grandmother of four. Services arranged by the McLaughlin Funeral Home, Jersey City.
