Hurricane Bill will be bad, NWS says

It’s too early to tell, but the National Weather Service is predicting that Tropical Storm Bill will become at least a category 3 hurricane (winds greater than 110 mph) by Friday morning. It also appears to be headed in the direction of the East Coast, although, again, it is still quite far away.
Extrapolating this far in advance may be pointless, but weather buffs like to know what’s coming.
Here is the NWS’ five-day prediction map.
Winds 111-130 mph can cause “Some structural damage to small residences and utility buildings. Large trees blown down. Mobile homes and poorly built signs destroyed. Flooding near the coast destroys smaller structures with larger structures damaged by floating debris. Terrain may be flooded well inland. Examples: Keith 2000, Fran 1996, Opal 1995, Alicia 1983 and Betsy 1965.”
