Here we are again, another year gone by. First, we would like to thank the many people that donated last year helping us to collect over 1200 coats and sweaters for the less fortunate. Also we want to thank all those who donated canned and dry goods on June 27 to our annual food for animals drive. The two animal shelters here in Hudson County were so appreciative that so many people do care.
Our coat give away this year is on Saturday Sept. 19, so if you or any one of your friends would like to donate you can drop them off at 2112 Bergenline Ave., or call (201)865-0383 or (201)865-2169 and we will arrange to pick them up or, if you live uptown, you can drop them at 524-37th St.
PLEASE – if you are going to donate we will be accepting coats until Sept. 12. You may only think it’s a used coat, but to someone in need it means so much more that people really do care.
So if you need a coat, or know someone that is in need of one, you can pick one up Saturday, Sept. 19 from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at 4113 Palisade Ave., Union City, or Sunday, Sept. 20 at 187 Monticello Ave., Jersey City, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Again, we would like to thank all that have helped in the past.
