In anticipation of the 10th Annual Latin Grammy Awards, which will be aired on Nov. 5 via live broadcast on the Univision network from 8 to 11 p.m. EST, a kick-off party will be held in West New York to begin a month-long celebration through “street parties” held throughout the country that will culminate with the awards ceremony.
The party in West New York will be held this Saturday, Sept. 27 between 54th Street and 60th Street on Boulevard East. Musical greats of the Latin music scene are expected to be there such as: Arcangel, Oscar De Leon, Luis Enrique, and Bachata Heightz.
“These festivals, through the power of music, allow us to create a bond between music lovers and the Latin Grammys and we look forward to another successful festival season,” said Gabriel Abaroa, president of The Latin Recording Academy, the organization that produces the Latin Grammy Awards.
