Dear Editor:
I would like to take this opportunity to ask the Citizens of the Town of Secaucus to join with me in endorsing Mike Gonnelli, John Bueckner, Bill McKeever, and Rob Costantino – the Take Back Secaucus team, in the upcoming November 3, 2009, General Election. As a resident for more than 30 years, there has never been a more important general election, than the one coming up on November 3. This election will determine the course and direction our Town will go in. Our Town, while under the Elwell administration, has had the embarrassment of the arrest of our former mayor, a significant amount of tax money lost, overdevelopment, and now a huge tax deficit. I am sure that many of you recognize that the embarrassment and fiscal woes of our Town are due to the Elwell administration’s lack of accountability and responsibility to the residents. Our Town needs a government it can believe in. Our Town needs to be taken in a new direction. A direction of no more back room deals, no more overdevelopment and no more overspending. An administration of accountability and responsibility. I sincerely believe that our Town needs the character, integrity and honesty of Mike Gonnelli, Rob Costantino, John Bueckner, and Bill McKeever. They have advocated an open and transparent government, elimination of costly “pay to play” contracts, and fiscal responsibility. I have had the honor and privilege to know these men for several years, their commitment to the Town of Secaucus, and their commitment to the people. I trust in their judgment. It is very important that each and everyone vote for all of the Take Back Secaucus candidates in order that they may accomplish all of their goals and again make us proud of our Town. I urge all the citizens of the Town of Secaucus to vote independent on November 3, 2009. Vote Column C for Mike Gonnelli, John Bueckner, Bill McKeever and Rob Costantino.
