A memorial mass was offered Oct. 22 at Immaculate Conception Church in Secaucus for Michael J. Pastorino, 86, of Cape Carteret, N.C., formerly of Secaucus. He died Oct. 14 at home. Mike worked for Duro-Test in North Bergen and Clifton for 40 years before retiring. He was a proud Army Air Force veteran of World War II, serving in the Pacific. Mike was buried with military honors in the Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville. Mike was the son of the late Victor and Theresa Pastorino. He is survived by sons, Tim and his wife Linda, Michael V., and Jeffrey; by daughters, Theresa Raftery and her husband Michael, Sharon Adams and Gene; and by Scott Watkins; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, and by lifelong companion Lillian Lawler.
