A funeral with military honors took place Oct. 9 for William G. Young, 73, of Elkton, Md. He died Sept. 30. Born in Chester, Pa., he was the son of the late Thomas G. and Margaret Regent Young. A U.S. Army veteran, Mr. Young retired as a bus driver from Hudson Bus Co., Jersey City. He attended Pleasant Hill Worship Center. He loved boating and flying, especially sea planes. He also enjoyed playing cards. Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Andrea Lappas Young; his daughters Lisa Clipper, Newark, Del., Kelly Young, Lynn Young, both of Jersey City, and Kristina Young, of Lyndhurst; his grandchildren Kane and Railey, and his siblings, Violet, Lill, Peggy, and Horace.
