A funeral mass was offered Oct. 10 at St. Paul of the Cross R.C. Church for Theresa Valentino, 84 She died Oct. 8 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Born in Hoboken, she lived in Jersey City most of her life. Theresa was a clerical worker for the Hudson County Division of Food Stamps for 25 years, retiring 17 years ago. She belonged to many organizations including the Rosary Society of St. Paul of the Cross, Mt. Carmel Guild, Catholic Daughters of America Court Lucina and the Mother’s Guild of St. Michael’s High School. Theresa is survived by her husband Michael; her children, Michael and Virginia; her brother Rosario; and her grandchildren, David and Gabriella. She was predeceased by her brother Robert.
