Funeral mass was celebrated Oct. 28 at St. Ann’s R.C. Church, Hoboken, for Antoinette “Annie” Gunther, 89. She passed away Oct. 25 at Bayshore Health Care Center, Holmdel. Antoinette was born in Jersey City. She worked at Maxwell House Coffee, Hoboken for many years as a line manager, retiring in the early 1980s. Antoinette was a member of St. Ann’s Woman’s Guild. She was the wife of the late Werner Carl Gunther; the mother of Paul Gunther and his wife Claudia; the sister of the late John “Skippy” Calabrese, Phillip Calabrese, Francis Xavier Calabrese, Millie Colicchio, Anna M. Calabrese, Lena Calabrese and Rose Calabrese; the aunt of Rev Fr. Damian Colicchio, Rose Marie Calabrese, and Peter Calabrese, and the grandmother of Eric Gunther.
