To the Editor:
You certainly upheld the slogan “Shop Rite has the answer” by providing free shuttle buses 12 times a day, seven days a week to and from your Metro Plaza at the Jersey City supermarket. This service is gratefully utilized by many who would otherwise not be able to avail themselves as well as others who prefer to park and ride!
This mode of transportation is actually quite pleasant as to the credit of the bus drivers, especially Derrick and Chris. These men always greet you with a smile, a helping hand when needed and always know the best route to their destination. They are appreciated and most certainly assets to their employer, the Broadway Bus Owners Association.
The city of Bayonne is also fortunate to have A&P, Stop & Shop and on a smaller scale, C-Town, along with Shop Rite. We “penny wise” shoppers are always kept on our toes with all the weekly flyers, specials and attractions. We eagerly await your grand-opening and anticipated enticements of your competitors as well.
