Dear Editor:
It has been brought to my attention that there are a lot of rumors going around town concerning our schools. How and where they start I do not know… Like the childhood game “Telephone”, you start with a sentence, whisper to the first person and it goes around the room until the last person speaks out loud. Everyone laughs because it’s always so different from the original sentence and the game is over.
But this is not a laughing matter or a fun game. These rumors hurt individuals, they hurt our children, the teachers, the administration, and they hurt our community. If you hear something PLEASE confirm it as fact before you play the game!
