Beth Mason says ‘thank you, Hoboken’

Dear Editor:
I am writing today to express my gratitude to all of my friends and constituents in Hoboken. Thank you all for your hard work throughout this intensive campaign. Many of you devoted your time and effort to knocking on doors, making phone calls or talking to your neighbors, and I appreciate it greatly. Thank you all so much.
We fell short of our goal in this election, but I am extremely proud of the efforts we all made. You can be sure that I will keep fighting for Hoboken’s future as Second Ward Councilwoman.
I congratulate Mayor Dawn Zimmer on her victory. We disagree on many things, but in the end I am sure that we have the same objective in our hearts – making Hoboken the best it can possibly be. I look forward to working with Dawn to fix the problems our city faces going forward.
Once again, I want to extend my sincere gratitude to everyone who supported my campaign, not only in this election but in past ones. Without you, I could not keep fighting for the reforms needed to make our government truly open and transparent. I hope to see you all soon, at council meetings or around the neighborhood.

Beth Mason
