A family memorial service was held Dec. 12 for Michael B. Silver, 73. He passed away Dec. 8 at his home in Hoboken. Michael was born in New York City, raised in Ft. Pierce, Fla., and played football for the Gators while attending the University of Florida. A producer, correspondent and bureau chief for NBC News in New York and abroad for more than 25 years, Michael will be greatly missed by his devoted wife Arlene, his children Linda Aronson, David Silver, Cristina Silver, and Kate Silver, and his grandchildren Alexandra, Kendra, Seina, Talia, Douglas, Dante, Nadia, and Rea.
