A funeral mass was offered Dec. 21 Our Lady of Grace R.C. Church in Fairview for Anthony R. Grieco, D.P.M., 86. He passed away Dec. 18. Anthony died peacefully at Prospect Heights Medical Center. He leaves behind his wife Dolores (nee) Scatina of 55 years and brother Joseph of Florida. He was the son of the late Alessandro and Rose Grieco. Anthony served as a medic in the USAF during World War II flying the sick and wounded, logging over 2000 hours in the air. He was discharged after the war as a staff sergeant. He graduated from Temple University Podiatry School in 1948 and practiced Podiatry in Hoboken for 45 years. He started the Podiatry Dept. at St. Mary’s Hospital in Hoboken and served as Dept. Chief for 15 years. He was also an avid golfer who boasted a USGA handicap of 6 during his peak. He also won several Bergen County Senior Tournaments in his later years. Services arranged by the A.K.
