HOBOKEN — The free swine flu shots for risk groups in Hoboken continue Saturday Dec. 19th until 5 p.m. There was no line around 11:30 a.m., so if you are pregnant, care for a young child, are an emergency worker, or meet another criterion, head down! And if not, you may still be able to get in; call 201-420-2375 to see if they’ve opened it up to everyone.
The shots are being given at Hoboken University Medical Center, 308 Willow Ave, Third Street entrance.
Risk groups:
Pregnant women, people who live with or care for children younger than 6 months of age, health care and emergency medical service workers, everyone aged 6 months to 24, and people aged 25 through 64 who have certain health conditions including HIV, diabetes, hepatic, neuromuscular, metabolic disorders, or heart or lung disease (asthma or COPD).
