Secaucus principal out sick since second week of school — but goes to political job in Holmdel

SECAUCUS AND BEYOND — Secaucus Middle School Principal Pat Impreveduto sustained a fall during the second week of school this year, and hasn’t been at work since. He first collected worker’s compenstation and then remained out on paid sick leave. However, he has been attending almost every bimonthly meeting of the Holmdel Township Committee, where he serves as deputy mayor.
Over the summer, Impreveduto had been changed from principal of the high school to principal of the middle school.
One Holmdel committee member was unaware of Impreveduto’s accident in Secaucus.
