A celebration of life took place Dec. 5 at the Claremont Lafayette Presbyterian Church, Jersey City, for Chad E. Butts. He passed away Nov. 29. He was the father of Na-Kiya A. Butts; the fiance of Alonda Harvey; the son of the late Mathew L. and Jo-Ann L. Nunery-Butts; the grandson of Beatrice Mieldon and the late Lillian and George Nunery; the nephew/son of Jacqueline NunerySherman; the nephew of Carol Butts-Jones, Gerald Butts, Willie Mieldun, Robert Sherman; the cousin to Winifred Thurston, and Thurman Easley, and is survived by a whole host of other loving relatives and friends.
