A funeral service took place Jan. 20 at the First Wesleyan Church, Jersey City, for Sadie Goodson. She passed away Jan. 15. She was the wife of the late Charles Goodson; mother of Laura Isaac and sister of Rilla Fortune; grandmother of four; great-grandmother of six; aunt of Thomasina and Monica Moore and Annie Fortune and Sadie Glover; adoptive mother of Daryl Walker; close friend of Beverly Maresca and friend of Frances Palumbo. She is also survived by her caretaker Faustina Osei-Bonsu and a host of other relatives and friends. Services arranged by the Watson Mortuary Service, Jersey City.
