McFAUL, MICHAEL T

Private funeral services have been held for Michael T. McFaul, 58. He passed away peacefully at Delaware Hospice Center, Milford, Del., on Jan. 27. Mr. McFaul was born in Jersey City. He was son of the late Michael J. and Mildred McFaul. Mr. McFaul moved to Rehoboth Beach, Del., full time three years ago. He was formerly of New York City and annually traveled to Rehoboth since 1985. In the early 80s he was Chief of Staff for the Jersey City Mayor’s Office under Gerald McCann. Shortly thereafter, he started a career with the City of New York, Department of Investigation, where he worked until 2003. Mr. McFaul had a great sense of humor and was well liked by his co-workers. He was known for his passion for politics and he was an avid supporter of the Democratic party. He will be missed by all who knew him and remembered for the gentleman that he was. Mr. McFaul is survived by his sister, Regina Ward and her husband Bob of Toms River; two nephews, Kenneth and Roger Ward; and five nieces: Gabrielle, Jacqueline, Erin, Avery, and Scarlett.
