HOBOKEN — Friday evening, Hoboken Mayor Dawn Zimmer sent out the following Twitter: “just received the Police audit. More news to come on Monday.”
Zimmer and the City Council have been asking the state to release an audit of Police Department operations for the past several weeks. The city is currently in negotiations with the police unions, and is also finalizing their 2009-2010 city budget.
