Dear Editor:
I hope that the rest of the City Council members will support Councilman-at-Large Ravi Bhalla’s proposal of moving the City Elections to November. As he stated, it will save the city hundreds of thousands of dollars. Councilman-at-Large David Mello and Council President Peter Cunningham have indicated that they are receptive to this proposal as well as Mayor Zimmer and we hope that the rest of the council will support this change. It would be a shame not to pass this resolution especially when we have the authority to do so. It’s more important than ever to cut costs where we can!
