Funeral services have been held for Steven Katz, 67, of Montvale. He died Feb. 9 at home. Born in Newark, he grew up in Hillside. He was a CPA with the firm Steven J. Katz, CPA, of Fort Lee, and a member of Temple Beth Sholom of Pascack Valley. He served in the U.S. Army in Germany. The 35 year resident of Montvale is survived by his wife Edith (nee Feldman), formerly of Bayonne; two sons, Jim of Hoboken and Scott of Boston; his mother Helene Katz, Springfield; his brother Michael, Cincinnati, Ohio, and his sister Flora Lynn of Springfield.
