“behind bluer boroughs” is an exhibit of the paintings of Ryan Ford, opening March 5 and running through March 23 at the Fish with Braids Gallery, 521 Jersey Ave., Jersey City. The painting of the same name (shown) depicts the twisted tale of an urban princess escaping her captivity into the “bluer borough’s” inferno, and reflects Ford’s obsession and emotional relationship with his urban world in paintings and sculpture. The opening reception is March 5, 6 -10 p.m., is wheelchair accessible, and kids are okay. For more information, visit www.fishwithbraids.blogspot.com or call Uta at (201)451-4294.
