A funeral mass was celebrated Feb. 25 at St. Paul of the Cross Church for Michael Peter Bis, 54. He passed away at home on Feb. 21. Michael was a lifelong resident of Jersey City and was employed as a lead technician at Hoboken University Medical Center. He is survived by his father, Theodore Bis and predeceased by his mother, the late Evelyn Bis. Michael was the brother of Lorraine Schuesler, Linda Bis, Elaine Sherman, Laura Bis and James Bis. He was the uncle of Mark Bis, Justin Bis and George Sherman. Services arranged by the McLaughlin Funeral Home, Jersey City.
