Funeral services were held March 12 at Monumental Baptist Church, Jersey City, for Sarah Cooper. She passed away March 5. She was born in Clarenon County, S.C. to the late Peter and Mary Harvin. Sarah was educated in the South Carolina school system and at an early age she relocated to Jersey City. Surviving to cherish Sarah’s memory are two sons, Marvin and Wilbert Cooper; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
