A celebration of the life of Mary Magdalene Smith Ezell took place March 17 at Mount Olive Baptist Church, Jersey City. She passed away March 9. She was the mother of Willie Magwood, Ronald Ezell, Joan Greene, Dawn Ezell, and the late Sandra Green; mother-in-law of Samuel R. Greene, Sabina Magwood, and Regina Ezell; grandmother of 12 grandchildren; great-grandmother of eight; sister of James Smith; sister-in-law of Constance Smith, and Pearline Smith; and a whole host of other relatives and friends.
