Funeral mass took place March 10 at St. Joseph R.C. Church in West New York for Manuel D. Diaz, 62, of North Bergen. He passed away March 6. Manuel was born in the Dominican Republic. He came to the U.S. in 1961 and was a truck driver for Minute Carrier in Jersey City. He was husband to Maria (nee) Mejias; son to Orvina Almanzar; father to Jeanette Rausch and her husband Mathew and Jennifer Yang and her husband Bo; brother to Hector, Josefina, Betty, Pedro and Joaquin, and grandfather to Eric and Taylor. Services arranged by the A.K. Macagna Funeral Home, Cliffside Park.
