Hoboken resident (and former Gov.) Jon Corzine returns to Wall Street

HOBOKEN AND BEYOND — Guess who’s back?
Former Gov. Jon Corzine, who lives in the Maxwell Place waterfront development in Hoboken, may now be hopping aboard the ferry to Manhattan with the rest of the Hoboken commuters.
Before he was senator and governor, he was the CEO of Goldman Sachs. Now, he’s been appointed as the chief executive of MF Global, which the New York Times calls “an international brokerage firm that specializes in futures, options and derivatives trading.”
They say that “He will also become a partner at J. C. Flowers & Company, a buyout firm that was founded by a fellow former Goldman executive and owns just under 10 percent of MF Global’s voting shares.”
