JERSEY CITY AND BEYOND — Jersey City couple Nia Haqq and Michael Muchioki, killed in front of their Randolph Avenue home on Easter Sunday, will be buried together at Rosedale Cemetery in Linden this weekend.
This will happen after Muchioki’s funeral on Friday at Monumental Baptist Church on Lafayette Street in Jersey City. The funeral service for Haqq took place Thursday morning at Symphony Hall in Newark, where Haqq was born.
Hudson County First Assistant Prosecutor Guy Gregory said on Thursday the investigation is continuing into their murders, which happened after an attempted carjacking by a trio of assailants failed and the couple was shot twice.
