HUDSON COUNTY — Early results in the local Board of Education elections show a slate of incumbents in North Bergen far ahead of three independent candidates. However, it looks like their school budget may be voted down, possibly requiring more cuts from the Board of Commissioners.
In Hoboken, Jersey City, and Secaucus, their budgets look like they’re coming out ahead, although anything can change and the races among candidates seem closer.
