A hot time

Thousands come to Hoboken for festival

Thousands of visitors came to Hoboken on Sunday for the 16th annual spring Hoboken Arts and Music Festival.
For a festival that pushed through in the rain the last few years, the day shined bright. Weather was in the high-80s and a breeze off the Hudson River kept it cool in the shade.
Visitors viewed arts and crafts products from talented vendors , listened to musicians with Jersey roots like Fountains of Wayne and Freedy Johnson, and filled their bellies from the best in local eateries.
City organizer Geri Fallo called the day a success as she scampered from one end of Washington Street to the other.
Fallo said on Monday that between 20,000 and 30,000 people may have been in town.
“I just getting tons of e-mails… ‘best show ever,’ you know, that sort of thing,” Fallo said.
Here are some photos from Sunday’s event.
