Dear editor:
It’s a good thing that we are invited to turn in our hazardous household waste–batteries, paints, etc., and that there are places to do it: Jersey City, Bayonne, North Bergen. My question is, why doesn’t Hoboken have a turn-in site? Many residents do not have cars and therefore can’t take advantage of these opportunities to rid their homes of dangerous materials. So come on, City Hall: figure out how we can walk somewhere and dispose of these items.
