We’re at hudsoncurrent@hotmail.comHoboken resident Jennifer Hirsh will perform in the St. Bart’s Players’ revival of Eugene O’Neill’s comedy, Ah, Wilderness, directed by Kevin O’Malley. Hirsh made her St. Bart’s debut as a nurse in She Loves Me, and went on to play Nicolette in The Boy Friend. Ah, Wilderness takes place in small-town America in the early part of the 20th Century and Hirsh plays the lead character’s rambunctious sister Mildred. The play will be presented Feb. 10 – 20 at St. Bart’s Playhouse, Park Avenue and 50th Street in Manhattan. Tickets are $15 for general admission and $13 for students and seniors. For more information, call the box office at (212) 378-0219. The Attic Ensemble, Jersey City’s Resident Theater Company, will present As Bees in Honey Drown, a play by Douglas Carter Beane. As Bees in Honey Drown is a satire about the world of celebrity in New York. Performance dates are Feb. 11, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19 and 20, Friday and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. The play will be presented at the Ensemble’s Theater, located in the historic Barrow Mansion, 83 Wayne St. in Jersey City. The non-profit organization Music Among Friends is holding a concert featuring The Little Me Acoustic Co-op with Andy and Denise, Tina Vero and Jody Williamson on Feb. 12 at the Shannon Lounge, 106, First St., Hoboken. Andy and Denise are a New York-based acoustic duo known for their poignant songs, beautiful harmonies and rhythmic stylings. Tina Vero is a singer-songwriter who also hails from New York. The evening will begin at 8 p.m. with an open mic session. The concert begins at 9 p.m. Tickets are $8 for non-members and $5 for members. Jersey City singer Laura Hawthorne will perform every Friday at Starbucks on 86th Street and Columbus Avenue in Manhattan from 8 to 10 p.m. beginning Feb. 18. Admission is free. Registration is now in progress for new students who wish to enroll for spring session classes at the School of the Garden State Ballet in Rutherford, 28 Glen Road. Even though spring classes began on Feb. 7 for new students ranging from pre-schoolers through teenagers and adults, registration will continue through March 31. The Newark Bears Professional Baseball Club has announced a contest to determine the team’s theme song for the 2000 season. The team is seeking original compositions recorded on CD or cassette. First prize includes $500 cash and a night in a Riverfront Stadium luxury suite. The team plans to use the winning song as part of marketing campaigns, game broadcasts, and in-stadium entertainment. Entries should be two to four minutes in length. Songs from any musical genre are welcome and should sing the praises of the Newark Bears, and the excitement of a night out at “The Den” (a.k.a.
