In her report to police, she claimed that sometime between May 15 and May 18, while she was away from home, her father allegedly took her purse, which included her drivers’ license, passport, and debit card, as well as a laptop, and a bag of mail.
She also claimed that the cat has since wound up in an unnamed animal shelter.
However, police said that the woman declined to file a formal complaint, so they did not speak with the father. They also did not know whether the woman had re-claimed her cat.
