A mass of Christian burial was held June 21 at Immaculate Conception RC Church, Hackensack, for Irene Giallombardo, 90, formerly of Union City and Jersey City. She died June 18. Recently retiring at 88 years old, Irene was a bookkeeper for Dr. Erianne in Jersey City. She remained an active member of AARP and the Maywood Senior Citizens. She was the wife of the late Peter “Midgie”; sister of Rosalie Bailey and the late Anita Donovan, Joseph, Salvatore, Charles, Conrad and Alfred Vuocolo; sister-in law of Bill Bailey, Marie and Rosemarie Vuocolo; aunt to more than 100 nieces and nephews.
