Patriotic Day Assembly

Kennedy School (PS #9) celebrates Patriotic Day Assembly with Hudson County Sheriff: The Kennedy School-PS#9 in Jersey City celebrated Patriotic Day at the school with an assembly program including the history of the American Flag and Betsy Ross, Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, Dr. Martin Luther King, Barack Obama, the Statue of Liberty and Valentine’s Day. The students presented speeches of the Presidents and sang songs in honor of the past Presidents, our current President and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The assembly event was coordinated by Principal Wendy Perez and her staff.

Hudson County Sheriff Juan M. Perez spoke to the students in regards to the love of our great Country-the USA and the importance of striving to “be all that you can be” throughout life stressing the attributes of education. The Sheriff presented badges to the Honor Roll Students.
