“My County 2010” poster contest sponsored by Hudson County Constitutional Officers

The Hudson County Constitutional Officers, Surrogate Judge Donald DeLeo, Register Willie Flood, Clerk Barbara Netchert and Sheriff Juan Perez announced the 2010 My County Poster Contest Winners. This annual event involved participation from students throughout the county where posters were submitted depicting some aspect of life in Hudson County. The winners are as follows: 1st Place – Mark Rotundo, Our Lady of Libera School, West New York, 2nd Place – Guemely Pinto, Nicolaus Copernicus School, PS #25, Jersey City, 3rd Place – Alexa Mauer, Resurrection School, Jersey City, Honorable Mention – Oscar Gutierrez, Mater Dei Academy, Kearny and Special Recognition – Carissa R. Pangilinan, St. Aloysius Elementary School, Jersey City. Special Recognition was awarded to Carissa Pangilinan from St. Aloysius Academy as she illustrated a very special event, the Walk Against Breast Cancer which many Hudson County Offices came together to support.
