Dear Mayor:
TNR is a very effective program for reducing the population of animals in any community. Some years back, Newark attempted to trap and euthanize feral cats. The result? Areas within the city completely overrun with rodents.
There are many reasons that these TNR programs work! Homeless Animal Lifeline, Lost Paws Rescue, People for Animals, and many other rescue groups in surrounding cities have had favorable results.
Kindly think and possibly reconsider your position on this topic. Thanks you for your kind attention.
