Funeral services were held July 23 at the Salem Baptist Church, Jersey City, for Albert Williams Sr. He passed away July 19 at the Mountainside Hospital in Montclair. He was a self-employed barber in Jersey City for 50 years. He was the husband of the late Katherine Williams and a father to one son, Albert Williams Jr., and three daughters, Margaret Williams Bendtsen, Marion Lamb and the late Catherine McFadden. He is survived by a grandson Byron Williams and four additional grandchildren; a niece Myrtice Malone; nephew Albert Stuckey; and a host of great-grand’s, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
