‘Real Housewife’ Kim Granatell coming to Jersey City; says: ‘I love gay people and gay people love me’

JERSEY CITY AND BEYOND – Apparently, even a reality TV cast member who isn’t among the main cast can get public appearances.
“Kim G,” a.k.a. Kim Granatell, of the locally popular show “The Real Housewives of NJ” is coming to Jersey City’s Lesbian Gay Pride Festival on Aug. 28, the show’s organizers announced Thursday.
Recently, Granatell was in local news because she apparently owns a condo in West New York, and her development was scoped out by one of the show’s stars, Danielle Staub, as a possible place for Staub herself to move.
Staub and Granatell had a highly public fight on the show recently after Granatell apparently gave Staub’s enemies personal information about Staub’s search for her adoptive mother.
According to the LGBT Pride press release:

Jersey City Lesbian + Gay Outreach, Inc. (JCLGO) produces an annual LGBT Pride festival and LGBT Pride week in Jersey City. The 10th Annual Jersey City LGBT Pride Festival will take place on Saturday, Aug. 28, noon – 8 p.m. at Exchange Place, Jersey City, NJ.… Joining JCLGO to volunteer for this year’s festival at the Information booth will be Kim Granatell who can be seen on Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of New Jersey.” Kim Granatell is a resident of Franklin Lakes, and is a busy mom with three children – John, Ryan and Gia. She is a college graduate who manages and operates all of her own real estate holdings.
Said “Kim G” Granatell “I am thrilled to volunteer at the JCGLO Information Booth during the 10th Annual JCGLO Pridefest.” Granatell further added “I love gay people and gay people love me. Over the years, some of my best friends have been gay. I support gay rights and equality for all.”
JCLGO co-founder and current Co-Chairperson Paul Mendoza said “we are honored to have Kim Granatell volunteer her time for our festival. It is wonderful to have caring individuals like Kim G come forward to support us and it is because of people like Kim G that the festival continues to grow and that we are able to advance towards full equality.”
Mendoza further added “We are thankful for the support of all of our straight allies from Housewives to elected officials who help make our festival possible.”

Okay, but will Danielle be there too? That would make for one fiery festival!
