Ancestry tracing road tour comes to JC library; state senator’s heritage revealed

JERSEY CITY AND BEYOND — The ‘We Are Africa’ Road Tour comes to Jersey City on Tuesday to help African-Americans trace their heritage.
The road tour, organized by African Ancestry, Inc,. an ancestry tracing company that helps African-Americans to discover their lineage, will stop at the Afro-American Historical Society Museum (located inside the Greenville Branch Library), 1841 Kennedy Blvd. from 6–8 p.m. The event is open to the public.
As part of the event, state Sen. Sandra Cunningham (D-Jersey City) will learn about her African heritage for the first time through research done by African Ancestry.
