A funeral mass was offered Aug. 28 at St. Francis R.C. Church for Peter Picca, formerly of Hoboken. He died Aug. 24 at Toms River Community Hospital. He was a self-employed carpenter of many years. He served in the Italian Navy and was a member of the Cascade Club in Hoboken. He was the husband of Rose (Minutillo); the father of Vincent and his wife Donna, Nanette, Cecilia, Anna Marie, Julia and her husband Peter; the brother of Cecilia, Paolo, and Nicolo of Italy; the grandfather of Matthew, Daniel, Robert, Dominique, and Madison; the brother-in-law of Irma DeCesare and Mary Minutillo; and the uncle of many.
