Indian Caucus thanks Secaucus for support

The Indian Caucus of Secaucus celebrated the 63rd anniversary of India’s Independence Day at the PAC center of Secaucus High School on Aug. 22.
Mayor Michael Gonnelli and the council members gave their full support to make this event successful.
At 6 p.m., the chief guest Mayor Gonnelli, NJ assemblyman Mr. Upendra, member of Parliament of India Bhavnaben, and the Counsel from the Indian Consulate Mr. Narendra lit the Ceremonial Lamp. Mr. Rajesh Nagpal, President of Indian Caucus of Secaucus, gave an introduction of the organization. After, national anthems of both the countries were sung. Several items of the cultural program, which followed right after, were performed by the local Indian residents. Finally, the program ended with some light refreshments.
This is the new and very first chapter in the history of Secaucus, and Indian Caucus of Secaucus thanks the mayor, the Town Council, and the local residents of the town for their support.
