A funeral service took place Aug. 23 at True Gospel Holiness Church, Jersey City, for Jason H. Felder Sr., 35, of Jersey City. He coached children in the community on the Jackie Robinson and Paulus Hook at Lincoln Park little league teams in Jersey City. Jason worked in the security field for 15 years until he found a family with FCJ Security Corp. in Fort Lee in September 2008 where he was a security manager. He was the son of Gregory Laval Sr. and Vyvette Felder; the husband of Tia; the father of Jason Jr. and Jaleen; the brother of Shawn, Marcus, Gregory Jr., Tyeshia, and Mira; the brother-in-law of Gynteen, Rashidah, Sharnell, Desmone, and Derrick; the uncle of Ashley, Danaya, and Dontre; the nephew of Vernda, Valerie, Tiney, Cathy, Darryl, Brian, and Allen; the great-nephew of Geraldine; and is survived by a host of other relatives and friends.
