Funeral services were celebrated Aug. 19 at Zion Baptist Church, Jersey City, for Ethel Crutcher. She was the wife of the late Charlie Crutcher; the mother of Lonnie Latham (Ernestine); the grandmother of Keith and Brian Latham; the sister of Theodore Blakemore, Eva Turner (Haymond), Anna Maria Hancock (Dan), and Maggie Wright (Charles); and the sister-in-law of James Woods and Mildred Blakemore. She is survived by a host of other relatives, the Zion Baptist Church Family, friends, and the “Wayne Street Kids” (Martha Scott, Henry Blackwell, Moses Wilson, and Viola Miller).
